A Soil Deal for Europe: towards the creation of 100 living labs and lighthouses Funding opportunities and key aspects of Living Lab creation

2024 National Engagement Event in Armenia | NATI00NS

EU Missions are a novelty of the Horizon Europe research and innovation programme for the years 2021-2027. The aim of the Mission 'A Soil Deal for Europe' is to establish and fund 100 living labs and lighthouses to lead the transition towards healthy soils by 2030. Trust-IT Services, within the framework of the NATI00NS project, along with Scientific and Innovation Partnership Assistance Center (SIPAC), organises the national engagement event in Armenia taking place in Yerevan on 31 May 2024.

The event will be held in a hybrid format, both online and in person at the Conference Hall of National Academy of Sciences of Armenia (2nd floor, 24 Marshal Baghramyan avenue, Yerevan 0019 Armenia) but will also be held online via Zoom platform. The working language will be Armenian.

FEEDBACK SURVEY

The event aims to connect and engage different types of stakeholders involved in soil and land management for different land use types and provide them with the tools and support to apply for and implement soil health Living Labs and Lighthouses. To whom is it aimed? Researchers, land managers, farmers, foresters and representatives of professional associations, councilors, managers and land owners, urban space development and land planning specialists, food and bioeconomy companies, consumer associations, local communities, cultural and creative industries, citizens, civil society organizations including NGOs, and government representatives. Participants will then be more confident to proceed with post-event work: generation of regional LL seeds, establishing cross-regional and cross-national networking, and taking part in capacity-building opportunities, towards solid applications to the Mission Soil calls.

Interested participants can also register on the dedicated matchmaking online platform, where they will then be able to connect with potential partners across countries to establish Living Labs and consortia. Some questions in the registration forms have a research scope that will help map stakeholders’ interests and knowledge on soil health topics and geographical distribution across Europe.
