NATI00NS – EU Soil Mission in Prishtina
In the framework of the Horizon Europe Programme for Research and Innovation (2021-2027), the European Commission launched the Mission 'A Soil Deal for Europe' aiming to establish and fund 100 living labs and lighthouses to drive the transition to healthy soils by 2030.
Innovation Centre Kosovo, EcoZ, GoBeyond and other governmental and local partners, are organizing the National Engagement Event in Prishtina, that will take place on the 12th of June 2024, from 09:30 to 12:00 at the Innovation Centre Kosovo, in Prishtina, with the possibility of online connection through the Zoom Meeting Platform.
During the event, we will explore the value of soil and the challenges for soil restoration in Kosovo. Our experts will introduce the concepts and the sessions are designed to engage participants from all sectors and illustrate the benefits of engaging in Mission activities. The presentation will be followed by an open discussion with participants and stakeholders. Food and drinks will be served by the organizers.
This event is open to any interested party such as researchers, students, farmers, foresters and representatives of their professional associations, land managers and landowners, spatial planners, food and bioeconomy companies, consumer associations, local communities, educators, cultural and creative industries, citizens, civil society organizations, NGOs, government representatives, both local and central.
